Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill Osteopathic Practices - A G Pusey Associates

Carol Maria Caiado-Gillett, Osteopath and Physiotherapist Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill

Carol Maria Caiado-Gillett Bsc (Hons) Ost

Carol Maria has been with the practice since 2003 after qualifying from the British School of Osteopathy and has since completed postgraduate training in cranial osteopathy.

Prior to training as an osteopath she had over 13 years experience in sports therapy. Having worked in the health club industry for many years, Carol Maria has extensive experience in the treatment and rehabilitation of injuries from a variety of sports such as weight training, squash, golf, tennis and running. Carol Maria initially worked as a gym instructor for 6 years and has gained inside knowledge of the training programmes and fitness regimes used within the fitness industry. With a personal history in athletics, gymnastics, dance and pilates, Carol Maria has developed an understanding of the extreme physical demands made on the musculoskeletal system in certain types of activity and the negative consequences this places on the body, particularly in combination with the ageing process.

Carol Maria worked within the National Health Service for over 2 years alongside GPs, specialists, physiotherapists and councillors which has enabled her to look at the patient in conjunction with other health care professionals. This experience, combined with the osteopathic approach, facilitates the development of a clear diagnosis and treatment protocol.

This large osteopath practice has served the communities in Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Lindfield, Newick, Cuckfield, Hassocks, Keymer, Ditchling, Hurstpierpoint, Wivelsfield Green, Plumpton and surrounding villages in Mid Sussex for more than 30 years. Our highly trained and friendly osteopaths will be pleased to try and help and we
welcome enquiries from all who believe osteopathy may be of benefit to them.
